Last week a flier stuffed into Warner’s Poltergeist Blu-ray title revealed a number of films coming soon to the format including Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, Amadeus: Director’s Cut, the original King Kong and The Matrix in a Digi-book package.
Today a new advertisement has surfaced that not only includes two of these coming soon titles, but gives us a release timeframe and peek at their packaging.
In the ad below you can see The Matrix and Amadeus: Director’s Cut are both receiving a Digi-book treatment and will arrive in stores sometime in Q1 2009 i.e. before the end of the March.
Rumors also suggest the original King Kong will roar onto Blu-ray in a similar Digi-book package during the same time frame.
We expect to see the first 2009 Digi-book title officially announced in the coming weeks.
