Fox Home Entertainment has confirmed our earlier report by announcing the original The Day The Earth Stood Still is coming to Blu-ray Disc on December 12 in a lavish special edition package timed perfectly to land just before the Keanu Reeves-starring remake.
The Day The Earth Stood Still will be presented in full screen 1.33:1 1080p video and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio with with English, Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin and French subtitle options.
