April is now upon us, and with it comes the knowledge that Grand Theft Auto IV will be our grubby little hands before the next month begins.
As each day passes and the April 29 release date inches closer, anticipation and excitement for the first next-gen entry in the best selling series grows at a fevered pitch. Everyone’s now realizing how close it is and wants to make sure they’ve secured their copy.
Look no further than Amazon.com for proof of GTA IV’s imminent videogame domination. With 27 days until release, both the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 version have cracked Amazon’s top 10 bestsellers list. At the time of this article, the Xbox 360 version is planted in the 4 spot, while the PS3 version resides in the 7 spot.
We’re guessing that a week from now, both versions will be permanently secured in the top 5 until release. Watch out, Halo 3. Your reign atop Xbox 360’s sales list is in serious jeopardy.
