In conjunction with the X06 conference in Barcelona, Spain, Microsoft has released the first new ‘Gears of War’ screenshots since E3 this past May. With less than two months before release it’s about time, too!
Four of the six screens are from a progressive attack against an oncoming Locust Hoarde warrior. They’re just O.K., but the last is the most intriguing as it depicts the new ‘Torque Bow’ weapon locking onto an enemy. You’ll have to use your imagination to picture what happens after the Michael Chiklis look-alike pulls the trigger.
‘Gears of War’ is still on track for release on Emergence Day aka November 12.
