Following in the footsteps of Sony’s decision to release ‘Rocky Balboa’ on Blu-ray a mere three months after it’s theatrical run began, Fox is on the verge of announcing ‘Eragon’ will go head-to-head with Rocky on March 20, again only three months after debuting in theaters.
This new trend of shortening the window between theatrical and home video release was expected to include ‘Night at the Museum’ as well. Fox has confirmed through VideoBusiness.com that a release date for the winter comedy has not been selected, and rumors indicate an April appearance on DVD and Blu-ray, at the earliest.
