Today marks the beginning of Spring Training here in Phoenix, Arizona where we are located. It’s a pretty big deal for the city, and not just because traffic is three times worse this time of year than any other.
Since the excitement is starting to brew here for Spring Training and especially our Arizona Diamondbacks, who narrowly missed a shot at the NL Championship round last year, I wanted to share a handful of screenshots from the Playstation Vita version of MLB 12 The Show. Nine to be exact, all taken from cut-scenes and half featuring the Chicago Cubs – annually the biggest Spring Training attraction of them all.
At least cover boy Adrian Gonzalez managed to grab one of the screens. And it’s nice to see Buster Posey back in action after he busted up his leg last year in a violent collision at home plate.
With the PS Vita not coming out until Wednesday, obviously this is the first appearance for The Show on Sony’s new handheld gaming console. It’s expected to make a big splash, especially when used in tandem with the PS3 version of the game. Unfortunately there’s no bundle pack so you can pick up both versions at a discount. Yet.
