A remake in Straw Dogs, thriller that looks like a remake but isn’t in Drive, a 3D re-release in The Lion King 3D, and the return of Sarah Jessica Parker in I Don’t Know How She Does It are all hoping to cure the hold Contagion held on the box office last weekend and come out on top.
I’m sure you have your own opinion on whether Contagion or one of the newcomers will win, which is where our game comes into play. Your task is to use our new tool below and predict what each of these five films will make at the box office this weekend from September 16-18. Once your predictions are submitted, we will average them in with the other players to go up against our Prophet predictions.
Should the players come closer to the finally box office results for three or more of the films, the top individual player will take home Everything Must Go on Blu-ray. I’ll keep this prize available in each new round going forward until The Prophet is beaten. I may even add to the pot.
To prove the power of numbers, in the last round The Prophet lost 2-3 against the players despite being the top overall finisher. Second-place finisher vendetta3 took home the prize.
