One of the most anticipated 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray releases of the past year now has a confirmed release date. You will get to spin Denis Villeneuve’s Dune in 4K with Dolby Atmos from a disc beginning January 11th, 2021. Blu-ray and DVD editions will drop on the same date.
The Digital HD Dune release is coming over a month earlier on December 3rd. Note that Dune is just now leaving the HBO Max streaming service where it has been available to watch for the past month.
There will be no shortage of bonus features to keep Dune fans happy after soaking up the feature presentation. Of the following extras only the final one is available on the DVD format.
