SEGA’s The House of the Dead 2 & 3 Return is poised to deliver two arcade shooter classics in one neatly wrapped package exclusively on Nintendo Wii.
With the March 11 release date less than two weeks away, the last thing we expected to receive is word of an all-new Extreme mode.
In this strictly single-player mode, gameplay will be deliberately sped up with faster enemy attacks and a significantly smaller bullet blast radius.
To counter this, players will be able to reload their shotgun faster, as well as make use of a new melee attack feature. With the melee, a player can attack multiple enemies with a single push of the A button. Melee’s can also be used defensively to block enemy attacks, missile weapons, and boss attacks.
