Photo-realistic visuals and arcade-style racing come together in Blur, a new intellectual property from the makers of Project Gotham Racing, Bizarre Creations.
Blur aims to make racing “fun” again through exploits on and off the track with power-ups, energy blasts, speed bursts, and an interactive online community and story tied into the game.
Up to 20 players will be supported via online racing in Blur with team-based multiplayer races or 4-player split-screen on tracks ranging from L.A. and San Francisco to the streets of Hackney, UK and Barcelona, Spain.
Custom Groups will allow players to create custom multiplayer modes to play with friends. Details on the types of customizations available will be revealed in the months ahead.
Blur is set to race into stores this fall on Xbox 360, PS3 and the PC. Check out the first psychedelic screens snapped from the game below.
