Midway has released a batch of screenshots and character renders for the intriguing crossover fighting game Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe, slated for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
Officially joining the expanding roster of combatants are Catwoman, The Flash, Sonya and Shang Tsung, each viewable as a high-res render below.
Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe marks the first time characters from the DC Universe have crossed paths with Midway’s Mortal Kombat. A single-player mode will allow players to select a character from either universe and fight through a story told from two unique perspectives.
Combat, or Kombat as Midway is referring to it, will play vertically as well as horizontally. Freefall Kombat and Klose Kombat will play perfectly into dynamic multi-tiered environments.
