This Monday, June 21, Microsoft is unleashing the Crackdown 2 demo for free download via Xbox Live Marketplace. It is available to everyone so you don’t need any special code to access it.
We’ve offered demo codes in the past and Microsoft has given several outlets free Crackdown 2 demo codes to hand out that entitles the owner to play the demo right now. My apologies for not thinking to ask Microsoft earlier in the week so unfortunately we have none to offer.
Crackdown 2 is the sequel to the underrated (in my opinion) original Crackdown game that offered up a large sandbox city and challenged you to purge it of thugs from the street level to the top of the highest skyscrapers. This new version promises to be bigger and better than the original which can only be a good thing as long as its equally fun.
Microsoft will release the full version of Crackdown 2 exclusively on Xbox 360 on July 6. While you wait for the demo for an early look, check out these new high-res screens straight from E3 by clicking any of the thumbnails below.
