Assassin’s Creed Revelations Announced; First Look Screenshot

Assassin’s Creed Revelations has been named as the fourth game in the Assassin’s Creed series by Ubisoft today, and will conclude the Ezio saga in a neat and tidy trilogy.

In Assassin’s Creed Revelations, Ezio sets off on a new journey in his mentor’s footsteps that will take him to Constantinople where a new threat of a growing Templar army exists. Constantinople is the heart of the Ottoman Empire and will offer a new location in the Assassin’s Creed universe to explore.

Multiplayer returns in Assassin’s Creed Revelations and will naturally expand with more maps, characters and modes to utilize. Ubisoft is also touting “revolutionary” gameplay that will allow players to “manipulate the construct of Desmond’s memories and the Animus to decipher the mysteries of his past and gain insight into the future.”
