Fresh off the presses is a massive dump of new Gears of War 2 Xbox 360 screenshots for your afternoon viewing pleasure.
Many, or possibly all of the screens were snapped from the same mountainous map/level. True to Gears fashion, Cliff Bleszinski has kept the color palette appropriately drab for the second-go around.
Where color is absent light is plentiful as these screens show off a more complex lighting engine than seen in the original Gears of War.
Gears of War 2 is still on track for a November 2008 release exclusively on Xbox 360. Or at least until Microsoft and Epic Games announce a PC version.
