Electronic Arts has surprisingly announced Madden NFL 09 has gone “Gold,” despite the release being nearly two months out on August 12.
Accompanying the announcement are 10 brand-new PS3 and Xbox 360 screenshots snapped from a variety of teams in action.
There are a total of 85 new features and enhancements in Madden NFL 09, highlighted by the game’s ability to adapt difficulty and gameplay based on a player’s skill level. Cris Collinsworth and Tom Hammond will provide a network-designed broadcast presentation for show, while deep online leagues will cater to hardcore players.
Madden NFL 09 will be availalble on Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Playstation 2, Nintendo DS and Sony PSP. The Nintendo Wii version will be called Madden NFL 09 All-Play.
