The X-Files revival project is real. You must believe. If you don’t then get ready for the best photographic evidence you could possibly hope for.
The official X-Files Twitter feed today shared an absolute gem today with a behind-the-scenes look at the X-Files revival series that recently started shooting. It features series creator Chris Carter staring intently into a monitor featuring David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson as Mulder and Scully, respectively, riding in the back of a town car on a green screen stage.
This image is classic X-Files and not only because the show’s two stars are finally reunited in it. Take a look at Mulder’s casual jeans and jacket, then compare it against Scully’s all-business shirt and skirt. Has Scully just picked up Mulder from who-knows-where to embark on a new top secret mission? If only we knew.
Fox will premiere the first of six X-Files revival series episodes on January 24, 2016.
