Last week in Episode 4, Sasha Baron Cohen got controversial former Maricopa County, Arizona sheriff Joe Arpaio onto the hot seat and went to work. By the segment’s conclusion Arpaio, who later admitted he knew something was up during the interview, said “yes” to an indecent proposal with the President and generally made a fool of himself.
The big draw viewers are waiting for: former Vice President nominee Sarah Palin. She’s already come out and publicly stated that Cohen took advantage of her in an interview by pretending to be a disabled U.S. veteran. There have been legal threats made against Showtime and Cohen should the interview air, so right now it’s looking like that footage will be swept under the rug.
