Season 2 of the Apple+ TV original series Truth Be Told is adding big names Kate Hudson and Merle Dandridge to the cast fronted by Octavia Spencer. The truth must be told as Poppy Parnell continues to risk everything in Season 2.
New episodes of Truth Be Told Season 2 premiere at or around midnight on each subsequent Friday since the premiere on August 20th. The second season totals 10 episodes, two more than Season 1.

A synopsis is not available for Season 2 Episode 1 at the time it premiered; however, a Season 2 preview reads:
“Poppy Parnell has a new case she would like you to reconsider when her childhood friend and media mogul Micah Keith (Kate Hudson) finds herself embroiled in tragedy and scandal. Poppy seeks to help Micah, pursuing justice on her very public and popular podcast, but at what personal and professional cost to Micah and her media empire?”
New to the Truth Be Told Season 2 cast are Christopher Backus, Alona Tal, David Lyons, Andre Royo, Merle Dandridge and Mychala Faith Lee. Returning cast from Season 1 includes Mekhi Phifer, Ron Cephas Jones, Tracie Thoms, Haneefah Wood, Katherine LaNasa, Michael Beach and Tami Roman.
This is the first leading television role for Kate Hudson, an Academy Award-winning actress.
New Season 2 episodes of Truth Be Told will stream on Apple+ each subsequent Friday following the premiere episode.
