Deaths are piling up on The Walking Dead over the past couple episodes and none of them are from Rick’s Alexandria group. With only three episodes this season left that figures to change soon, possibly tonight. Last week’s episode was filmed in a slaughterhouse where Carol and Maggie were held hostage by a small group of Saviors. The dynamic between prisoners and hostiles was fantastic as Carol’s evolution took a new step where she’s really starting to regret the rising human kill count.
By episode’s end all the Saviors in that group were dead along with another pair of Saviors that came to assist the situation. That’s now two consecutive episodes with a high Saviors body count and not a single casualty in the Alexandria group. Rick would be the first to tell you that things have a way of evening out.
The official synopsis for tonight’s new episode of The Walking Dead reads, “Two separate groups leave Alexandria for supplies, and while both worry over the future of the community, they will face immediate danger.”
