Million Dollar Mile Preview
The trailers make Million Dollar Mile look like a futuristic version of The Running Games spliced with Tron: Legacy.
The premise is relatively simple. Contestants must traverse a one-mile course in downtown Los Angeles and win $1 million if they do. Sounds easy, right?
The first catch is that a group of 10 elite athletes known as “Defenders” will be chasing each contestant following a two-minute head start. Their sole purpose is to stop the contestants from finishing the course.
Speaking of the course, it will be chock full of obstacles including zip lines, pools, barriers, ropes and who knows what else. That’s just what has been teased in trailers thus far.
The Million Dollar Mile premiere episode and subsequent episodes are each an hour in length.
