The Night King and his expanding army of gruesome warriors march toward Winterfell as Game of Thrones Season 8 continues Sunday April 21st, 2019 at 9/8c on the HBO cable TV channel with Episode 2. By this episode’s conclusion a third of the final season of GOT will have already aired.

Find out how to watch HBO’s Game of Thrones online free without cable on a computer, tablet, phone or television using one of the following trusted streaming services.

Our first preferred way to watch Game of Thrones online without cable is by taking advantage of a 7-day free trial of HBO via Amazon Prime. Members can jump straight in to start streaming Game of Thrones tonight without touching a wallet after joining the trial.

No cable is required to take advantage of this free HBO offer. The regular HBO price of $14.99 per month will activate once the trial is complete, or you can cancel anytime during the trial.

If you aren’t an Amazon Prime member then simply signup for a free 30-day trial of Prime. You can then add the Prime Channels with HBO free trial on top of it to stream the Game of Thrones Season 8 premiere for free.

You can also add HBO as an add-on with a Hulu Live TV subscription. The big benefit here is that Hulu offers 50 hours of DVR Cloud storage so you can watch Game of Thrones live or save it for later. Sign up for Hulu Live TV to enjoy one of the most popular online streaming services available today.

If you have cable or satellite then you can watch Game of Thrones online via the HBO Now streaming service that also offers a free trial. As with Amazon Prime there is no cable, DirecTV or Dish Network needed as this is a direct offering by HBO for subscribers.

Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 2 Preview

Game of Thrones returned to begin its final season by paying homage to the series premiere on more than one occasion.

A different group of characters and their army arrived at Winterfell as a young child looked on in amazement. Even better, Bran Stark and Jamie Lannister locked eyes for the first time since the series premiere’s final moments.

Death looms on the horizon as the Night King and his army head straight toward Winterfell. They already laid waste to another castle to the north and claimed its armies for their own.

Previews tell us that the Battle for Winterfell is imminent but not likely coming in Season 8 Episode 2 aka Episode 69. It’s more likely to happen in Episode 3 which not coincidentally has the longest run-time of any episode in the entire series.

Things we except to move forward in Episode 2 include the trial of Jaime Lannister in Winterfell, Bron’s orders to take out Tyrion and Jaime with the same crossbow used to kill Tywin, and how Sam Tarly aligns himself following the news that Daenerys murdered his father and brother.
