Game of Thrones Season 8 Preview
Game of Thrones will wrap up eight incredible seasons of storytelling and when all is said and done hopefully answer the burning question: who gets to sit on the Iron Throne?
Some will argue that Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow are the top two choices. Others might say that the cunning of Tyrion Lannister will result in him taking the throne.
Absolutely no one believes that the current King — or make that Queen — in Cersei Lannister will be firmly planted on the throne when the series concludes.
When Season 7 wrapped up, the Night King had commandeered one of the three last dragons and used it to destroy The Wall that protected Westeros from the creatures of the north. With an army of the undead marching south, a confrontation and battle for Westeros is inevitable.
Given that there are only six episodes left don’t be surprised if a familiar character or more are eliminated before the credits roll.
The Game of Thrones Season 8 premiere Episode 1 airs Sunday night at 9/8c. The remaining five episodes will air each subsequent Sunday night in the same time slot.
