The 71st annual Primetime Emmy Awards has arrived at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles with numerous television shows vying for the coveted golden prizes.
Unlike last year when the 2018 Emmy Awards aired on NBC, the 2019 Emmy Awards will be televised nationally on Fox. What time the Emmy Awards start hasn’t changed and remains 8 pm ET / 5 pm PT.

Fox is included as one of many channels for subscribers of Hulu with Live TV. This hugely popular streaming service. There are some channel exceptions depending on exactly where you live, but by and large Fox is always included.

2019 Emmys Preview
It’s fitting that HBO’s Game of Thrones leads all shows with 14 nominations. Game of Thrones aired its final season earlier this year so this is its last shot at winning.
The show with the second most nominations is Ava DuVernay’s Netflix original When They See Us. It enters tonight with 11 nominations.
When They See Us will be going up against HBO’s Chernobyl in the Best Limited Series category. That’s some stiff competition considering the huge critical and public response Chernobyl received.
Another HBO series, the dark dramedy Barry starring Bill Hader, is in third with 9 nominations including Outstanding Comedy Series.
The Emmys run approximately 3 total hours in length.
