The Imagine Dragons lead singer Dan Harmon’s documentary Believer is premiering on HBO at 8 pm EST / 5 pm PST on Monday, June 25th. You can watch Believer online live streaming with or without cable to see Harmon tackle the Mormon Church’s stance on its LGBTQ members.
The top two options to live stream Believer are both attached to HBO directly and offer a free trial. Believer, with a musical score by Hans Zimmer, spends a year with Dan Reynolds, a Mormon whom has taken exception with how The Church treats its LGBTQ members. Much of that year is spent following Harmon as he organizes the LoveLoud Festival concert in Orem, Utah.
The big message Believer hammers home via Harmon is that suicide rates among Mormon’s has skyrocketed in the past decade, and Harmon attributes this to The Church’s treatment of its LGBTQ members.
