AMC has dropped a new trailer for The Walking Dead bonus episodes, or Season 10 extension. Either is technically correct.
Each of the six episodes will explore their own contained story in the aftermath of the Whisperer War’s conclusion. That War, and everything that came before it, has left permanent physical and mental scars on every survivor. This trauma will bubble to the surface in unexpected ways.
One character who will face their own demons from the past is Negan. It won’t help his psyche that Maggie is back in the fold and hasn’t gotten over what he did to Glenn.
It appears Negan may need to confront his past before he can fully commit to a hopeful new future. That means interacting with his deceased wife Lucille (Hilarie Burton Morgan) on what aims to be a tough night of solitude.
The Walking Dead bonus episodes premiere Sunday, February 28th at 9/8c on AMC and AMC+.
