The end is drawing near for HBO’s True Blood and this morning we got our first drip of information regarding the series finale, appropriately titled, ‘Thank You,’ in the form of a synopsis i.e. log line. Spoilers await so bite into them at your own risk.
It’s been pretty obvious since Alcide took a bullet to the head that the inevitable Sookie and Bill reunion would play out and march right into the series finale. That fairy tale ending took a detour last Sunday when Bill, after traveling across town in a weakened condition, decided not to bite into Sarah Newlin and save his life.
With two episodes left we’re left wondering how Sookie and Bill will end up together. Will Sookie do what she should have done already and inject Bill with Sarah’s blood? Or, will Bill follow through with his death wish and Sookie join him in some sparkly fairy afterlife?
Here’s the True Blood series finale log line, “Sookie (Anna Paquin) weighs a future with and without Bill (Stephen Moyer). Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) and Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten) struggle with their uncomfortable partnership with Mr. Gus (Will Yun Lee). Sam (Sam Trammell) makes a choice, while Andy (Chris Bauer) comes upon an unexpected inheritance. Written by Brian Buckner; directed by Scott Winant.”
I’ll leave you to ponder the concept of an inheritance coming from a death, and Sookie and Andy’s daughter both being fairies.
