The wait for Part 3 i.e. Season 3 of Guillermo del Toro’s Trollhunters animated series got a lot shorter today with official release date news that caught us all of guard.
Rather than wait until the second half of 2018 for the continuing adventures of Jim the Trollhunter and his companions, Netflix will drop the entire third season of Trollhunters on May 25th.
This news is important for two reasons. First, the wait for more Trollhunters has been reduced from seemingly several months to a single month.
In addition, the first spin-off series and second of three series under the larger Tales of Arcadia banner is now expected to arrive before the year is out.
Trollhunters: Part 3 should run 13 episodes, the same number produced for Part 2.
