The finale for Season 1 of HBO’s The White Lotus is here and promises to reveal who is inside the coffin from the opening scene of the show. Make your guesses. Not only that, HBO renewed the limited series for a second season, but it will be set at a completely different White Lotus resort with an all-new cast.
The White Lotus Episode 6 titled Departures premieres on Sunday, August 15th at 9 pm ET exclusively on HBO and HBO Max.

Here’s The White Lotus synopsis from HBO:
“A social satire set at an exclusive tropical resort, this six-episode limited series follows the vacations of various hotel guests over the span of a week as they relax and rejuvenate in paradise. But with each passing day, a darker complexity emerges in these picture-perfect travelers, the hotel’s cheerful employees and the idyllic locale itself.“
Episode 6: Departures, the opposite of Episode 1: Arrivals, is described as follows:
“Rachel shares some harsh truths with Shane and confides in Belinda, who’s reeling from bad news of her own. As the Mossbachers turn the page on their harrowing scare, Quinn reveals major life plans. With nothing left to lose, Armond goes on an all-out bender – and exacts the ultimate revenge on his nemesis.”
The impressive ensemble cast includes Murray Bartlett, Connie Britton, Jennifer Coolidge, Alexandra Daddario, Fred Hechinger, Jake Lacy, Brittany O’Grady, Natasha Rothwell, Sydney Sweeney, and Steve Zahn.
Recurring guest stars are Molly Shannon, Jon Gries, Jolene Purdy, Kekoa Kekumano, and Lukas Gage.
Look for The White Lotus Season 2 to premiere in 2022 at the earliest.
