AMC has released nice high resolution versions of The Walking Dead Season 6 images that first appeared in Entertainment Weekly. To top those first looks, the cable network has released an exclusive preview at an incredibly gross walker that will be after someone when the next season gets underway in October.
The Walking Dead Season 6 images from EW feature Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln), Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus), Glenn Rhee (Steven Yeun) and Maggie Greene (Lauren Cohan), all presumably taken within the confines of Alexandria (photos by Gene Page/AMC). All of them look as if the characters are on relatively high alert, an atmosphere that fits the chaotic The Walking Dead Season 6 trailer released at Comic-Con a week ago.
AMC’s exclusive image is hands down the best of the bunch. It depicts a Greg Nicotero designed walker with presumably a knife or sword gash running straight down its face. There’s also what appears to be a massive knife sticking through his shoulder from the rear. This walker has been through hell and back and he’s still in search of prey.
