We are only a few days away from the first footage of AMC’s The Walking Dead Season 5 premiering at Comic-Con, and if past years are any indication, an Internet release shortly thereafter. New drips of information are starting to come out as the final Comic-Con countdown continues, including the official The Walking Dead Season 5 key art and some new images courtesy of EW.
The key art features only a handful of the characters and probably shouldn’t be read into i.e. those not pictures like Tyreese and Sasha aren’t necessarily pegged for a swift death. From left to right it features Rick, Carl, Michonne, Daryl, Glenn, Maggie, and Abraham Ford, the latter of whom joined Rick’s band of buddies last season and figures to play a more prominent role in Season 5.
A handful of new The Walking Dead Season 5 images start with a beaten Daryl, gagged and looking up into the sky. There’s also a shot of Carol and Judith, as well as a bloodied Rick looking concerned as he usually does.
