The 11th and final season AMC’s The Walking Dead officially began filming today. All good things must unfortunately come to an end, and the first teaser image from the set certainly backs up that sentiment.
What appears to be the windmill in Alexandria has been burnt to a crisp at some point between the original end of the Whisperer War and the Season 11 premiere. Per the clapboard this shot is definitely from the first episode of Season 11.

It is entirely possible that the Windmill fell during the upcoming six additional Season 10 episodes that are set to premiere later this month.
That, or the Season 11 premiere is going to be hot both literally and figuratively.
The Walking Dead Season 11 will premiere in Fall 2021 with a first batch of eight episodes.
