Tonight FX will premiere the first episode of The Bridge Season 2 and we have a sneak peek at the episode in the form of several clips that you can watch below.
The Bridge stars Diane Kruger, Demian Bichir, Matthew Lillard, Emily Rios, Thomas M. Wright and Ted Levine in the story of two police detectives who battle crime along both sides of the Texas and Mexico border. It is based off of the Danish/Swedish series titled Broen/Bron/The Bridge.
Here’s a quick Season 2 premiere synopsis that details where The Bridge picks up, “Marco (Bichir) continues to pursue his son’s killer behind bars, while his El Paso counterpart Sonya (Kruger) strives to solve a string of mysterious murders along the US-Mexican border.”
I admit to having never seen The Bridge as it is one of many shows sitting on my “to watch someday” list. From what I hear it’s a fantastic crime thriller and more than worth the time investment.
The first of 13 new episodes in The Bridge Season 2, titled ‘Yankee,’ premieres tonight on FX at 10/9c on FX. The Bridge live online streaming of episodes is available to channel subscribers via the FX on demand website. All Season 1 episodes are available at Amazon.com, where new episodes will also appear shortly after their air on FX.
