This week’s all-new episode of the Apple+ original series Foundation is buoyed by a big franchise announcement. Earlier in the week Apple TV announced that Foundation, based on Isaac Asimov’s novels, had been picked up for a second season. That should make all the Season 1 episodes that much sweeter starting with Episode 4: Barbarians at the Gate.
The Foundation Episode 4 premiere date and time is Friday, October 8th at or around midnight ET. Additional Season 1 episodes will be released weekly on subsequent Friday mornings.
