A new Star Wars: The Bad Batch trailer sheds a little light on what these genetically-enhanced misfit clones will be up to in their Star Wars: The Clone Wars spin-off series.
It appears the group, also known as Clone Force 99, will initially be recruited into the Galactic Empire by Grand Moff Tarkin. That won’t stick as at some point they’ll be on the run with the Empire hot on their tails.
The most revealing bit in the new trailer is the introduction of a child character who the Bad Batch will befriend and take with them on their adventures.
We also get to see a little bit more of Fennic Shand (Wing-Na Wen) in action as she’ll cross paths with Clone Force 99 at least once. And another previously-seen character making an introduction is Saw Gerrera from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
Star Wars: The Bad Batch premieres exclusively on Disney+ beginning not ironically on Friday, May (the) 4th.
