The Netflix Skylanders Academy release date has been revealed for October 28th much to the delight of Portal Masters everywhere.
Skylanders Academy is based on Activision’s popular toys-to-life game franchise starring elementally-powered creatures who battle against Kaos, a diminutive evil Portal Master obsessed with ruling the magical world of Skylands at any cost.
The Netflix-exclusive series will also star Kaos as the antagonist as well as a core group of Skylanders voiced by recognizable names. They include Justin Long as Spyro the Dragon; Ashley Tisdale as Stealth Elf; Jonathan Banks Eruptor; and Norm MacDonald as Glumshanks, Kaos’ humble servant.
Kaos will be voiced by Richard Steven Horvitz who also provides the unmistakable cackling laughs for the game series.
We expect a Skylanders Academy Netflix trailer to pop up any day now with the first season only a month away from its premiere.
Season 2 is already in production for a fall 2017 debut.
