It’s less than two months until HBO delivers the Game of Thrones Season 7 premiere episode and we’ve yet to receive a proper trailer. We have gotten some stills and a variety of other teases but all-new footage as proven elusive. Something’s better than nothing, right?
The latest Game of Thrones tease comes in the form of a motion poster released via the official series Instagram account. It’s a rather simply tease that begins tight and pulls back to reveal the Night King in all his creepy glowing blue eyes glory.
Look closer into the Night King’s eyes and you’ll see a figure. That figure is none other than Jon Snow, the only human in Westeros concerned with the encroaching Night King and his army above bickering with rival Houses.
Snow also happens to have royal Targaryen and Stark blood coursing through his veins as revealed in Season 6. I can think of no better choice to take the Night King on.
Game of Thrones Season 7 will no doubt blow our minds when it premieres on July 16th.
