It has been exactly one year since Netflix released the premiere season of Ozark starring Jason Bateman and Laura Linney. In roughly one month, Season 2 will be released to continue the bizarre Byrde family story.
Netflix is guessing many of the show’s fans don’t remember all the details of everything that went down during the first season. To bring everyone up to date, they’ve released a two-minute recap video that hits all the high — and low — points from the Byrde’s complicated new life in the Ozarks.
The recap is told through the perspective of Ruth (Julia Garner), whose incarcerated father needs a recap of his own. We’ll get our first taste of daddy outside the prison walls in Season 2 and it’s sure to send some shock waves through the community.
