The countdown to Netflix’s prequel series The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance is officially in single digits as we rapidly approach the Friday, August 30th release.
Though the final trailer has already debuted, more new footage continues to seep out from official channels.
Netflix’s latest Age of Resistance featurette digs into returning to the world of Thra and picking up on the visual cues and designs where the original film left off. Interspersed among interview snippets with select cast and filmmakers is new footage and brief clips complete with dialogue.
The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance will span 10 one-hour episodes. There’s been no clear indication whether the story will continue into a second season. If viewership warrants it then certainly there’s a chance.
