Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. takes a page out of Guardians of the Galaxy in the first extended look at Season 6.
In the clip, a handful of agents run into alien complications while detouring for fuel during a rescue mission to find stasis-frozen Fitz in deep space.
Simmons and Quake aren’t about to let a squabble over fuel payment to interrupt their plan with the safety of Fitz on the line. Without giving too much away, Quake has come a long way from her introduction as a hacker way back in Season 1.
Don’t expect the entirety of Season 6 to resemble an epic space adventure. As an earlier trailer revealed, the action will revert back to earth at some point where an evil Coulson with nefarious intentions will literally ride onto the scene.
The Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 6 premiere airing this Friday, May 10th was directed by none other than Coulson himself, Clark Gregg.
