Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD Season 2 Midseason Premiere Clip: Prisoner Transfer

The nearly three month hiatus that Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has been on is finally in its final legs. With the imminent premiere in a few days, Marvel and ABC have released the first Agents of SHIELD Season 2 midseason premiere clip to help trigger your memory a bit of where one story line left off.

When we last saw Hydra agent Sunil Bakshi (Simon Kassianides), he had unsuccessfully tried to take his own life and ended up in SHIELD custody on a hospital bed instead. Bakshi is a high value prisoner being the number two man of Whitehall, so Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg) decides to hand him over to General Talbot (Adrian Pasdar) and the U.S. government so that the SHIELD and U.S. government uneasy truce remains in effect.

The clip turns a little bizarre when it is revealed that Coulson and Agent May (Ming-Na Wen) are transporting Bakshi to Talbot in a standard car with presumably no backup. While May and Coulson rattle on in an obvious staged conversation designed to plant fake truths into Bakshi’s ear, the car runs into a little unexpected trouble.

The Agents of SHIELD Season 2 midseason premiere, otherwise known as Episode 11, will debut this upcoming Tuesday, March 3 in its usual 8/7c time slot that Marvel’s Agent Carter just vacated.

Also be sure to check out the first halfway decent look at Raina as an Inhuman in a new piece of SHIELD poster art.
