New Marvel Making-Of Series ‘Assembled’ Starts with ‘WandaVision’

The conclusion of Marvel’s WandaVision on Disney Plus in the coming weeks won’t be the last you see from the groundbreaking series.

As WandaVision closes out Marvel’s first television series set entirely within the Marvel Cinematic Universe — S.H.I.E.L.D. came close but went off on some tangents — a new making-of series titled Assembled will debut on Friday, March 12th and dig into everything that makes WandaVision tick.

Here’s the full synopsis for the first episode of Assembled:

“The first episode of ASSEMBLED will focus on the critically acclaimed WandaVision. Join Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany and WandaVision’s creative team as the episode pulls back the curtain on this highly groundbreaking series. Learn how the production’s surprising concept took shape by drawing inspiration from classic sitcoms. Witness how the crew went to great lengths to emulate various filmmaking methods used during the early years of television. Discover the unique challenges and ultimate rewards of performing an entire episode in front of a live studio audience. Spend time with exciting newcomers to the MCU, such as Teyonah Parris and Kathryn Hahn, along with returning favorites like Kat Dennings and Randall Park.”

Future episodes of Assembled this year will examine the upcoming Disney+ Marvel series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Loki, as well as the Black Widow movie.

It’s a good bet that every Marvel Cinematic Universe series or movie from here on out will be featured in an episode of Assembled.

Here’s the important Disney+ timeline that covers the transition between series without skipping a Friday:

  • March 5th: WandaVision finale
  • March 12th: Assembled premiere
  • March 19th: The Falcon and the Winter Soldier premiere
