The Jim Henson Company’s Earth to Ned talk show has been given a Friday, September 4th 2020 premiere date for 10 episodes to drop on Disney+.
The new original series stars a pair of alien puppets. Alien commander Ned and his lieutenant, Cornelius, call off an attack of Earth upon arrival and decide to explore human culture instead by interviewing celebrities.
In another twist, Ned is trying to keep the show a secret from his father and will rely upon the help of the ship’s artificial intelligence, BETI, as well as destructive CLODs (Cloned Living Organisms of Destruction) in order to do so.
Ned, Cornelius, BETI and the CLODs are all be brought to life by Jim Henson’s Creature Shop.
