First ‘Ninjago’ 2019 Information Coming From Comic-Con Panel

The LEGO Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu TV series hit its stride following The LEGO Ninjago Movie release. Writers Dan Hageman and Kevin Hageman have delivered their most compelling and mature stories yet in Season 8 and what’s aired so far and been shared online from Season 9.

Many questions remain regarding the Ninjago brand that’s rapidly approaching its 10th anniversary in the coming years. Will the Hageman Brothers, who found success beyond Ninjago with Trollhunters and have Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark and The Croods 2 on their to-do plates, pass the torch to a new writing team as they did for Season 7?

Whether the Hagemans quietly bow out or not, what will Ninjago look like in 2019, and when will the first details about the show’s future be revealed?

Tommy Andreasen, one of the creative minds at LEGO responsible for bringing Ninjago to the small screen, recently let slip that the first Ninjago 2019 news will be shared during the Ninjago Comic-Con Panel on Sunday, July 22nd.

With Ninjago Season 9 yet to officially air in North America I wouldn’t expect any kind of trailer for whatever next year’s media entails. However, knowing the first details are a little over a week away is certainly cause for celebration.

We’ll pass along whatever the declassified 2019 plans are shortly after they’re made public. In the meantime, be sure to give Tommy a follow.
