First Look at Lucy Lawless in Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD

Lucy Lawless will be mixing it up with Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg) and pals on the upcoming sophomore season of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. A first look at Lawless from the set was posted online by Marvel today that reveals little over than what her hair will look like. In Season 2, Lawless plays Agent Isabelle Hartley who apparently survived the Hydra takeover of S.H.I.E.L.D. and finds her way into Coulson’s path. Little else is known about Hartley at this time other than she’s a seasoned S.H.I.E.L.D. veteran that will aid Coulson in his attempt to rebuild the agency as its new director while Nick Fury operates in whereabouts unknown under his own orders. The Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 2 premiere will take place on Tuesday, September 23 at 9/8c on ABC. I would expect the first Season 2 trailer or TV spot to drop within the next couple weeks at the latest, if not within the next 24 hours. Source: Marvel
