Fear The Walking Dead Teaser Trailer Finds Trouble Lurking in a Park

Three brief scenes totaling less than 10 seconds is all it takes for a new Fear The Walking Dead teaser trailer from AMC to set an ominous tone as the zombie apocalypse gets underway.

The first scene depicts a series of missing child posters tacked onto a short wall. At this point in the outbreak no one knows what is going on so they’re searching for their loved ones thinking they might have run away or were kidnapped.

Travis (Cliff Curtis) and Madison (Kim Dickens) are riding in a pickup truck in the second shot. It’s unclear whether this shot is connected to the missing child posters but it likely is.

The final shot is the stunner as a presumed walker is seen slowly walking through a park with a playground in the background. At this point the outbreak should be picking up steam and everything goes to hell relatively quickly, or at least that’s how Shane said it went down in the first season of The Walking Dead.

AMC has set the Fear The Walking Dead premiere date for sometime in August, and we should know exactly what that date is by Comic-Con in mid-July at the absolute latest.
