‘Euphoria’ Special Christmas Episode Arrives 3 Days Early on HBO Max

HBO Max put on their Santa hat and delivered some excellent news today. The first of two upcoming Euphoria special Christmas episodes is arriving early. In fact, it will drop in a little over a day at midnight ET / 9 pm PT on Thursday, December 3rd.

The episode is titled Trouble Don’t Last Always and follows Rue (Zendaya) as she celebrates Christmas in the aftermath of being left by Jules at the train station. Expect Colman Domingo from Season 1 to also make an appearance per the trailer below.

Euphoria series creator Sam Levinson wrote the episode and directed it under COVID-19 guidelines.

The HBO premiere date for Part 1: Rue, the alternate name for this episode, is this upcoming Sunday, December 6th at 9 pm PT. Since you can access HBO Max as an HBO subscriber there’s no reason to not watch it early.
