John Stamos ventures back onto the small screen in the Disney+ Original Series Big Shot where he plays a women’s basketball coach ousted by the NCAA and landing at an elite high school. The cast also includes Jessalyn Gilsig, Yvette Nicole Brown, Richard Robichaux, and Shiri Appleby.

Disney+ Subscription
You will need to sign-up for Disney+ at the official website or app to watch Big Shot as the free trial went away when quarantine ramped-up and subscriptions naturally skyrocketed as a result. Subscribing, even if only for a month, allows you to jump right in and watch as much of Big SHot and other shows/movies on the platform as you have time for.
The cost for Disney Plus remains one of the cheapest of all streaming services at only $7.99 a month as of March 26th, 2021. Subscribers get more than their money’s worth with seemingly endless Star Wars, Pixar, Disney, Marvel and National Geographic content to choose from.
Disney is also offering an option of subscribing for $79.99 a year that drops the price down to $6.67 a month, over a dollar a month less than going month-to-month.
Disney+ Hulu ESPN+ Bundle
There is also a $13.99 a month bundle option that includes Disney+, ESPN+ and the ad-supported version of Hulu. This deal dubbed “Get All Three” is fantastic and many folks have already jumped in with both feet and endless hours of streaming options.
If you already have a Hulu account then you will receive a bill credit for each month that you’re subscribed to the bundle deal.
Look for the Disney+ app to show up on a variety of devices including Xbox and PlayStation gaming consoles; LG, Samsung and Sony TVs, Roku boxes, and Amazon Fire TV boxes and Fire Sticks.
You’ll need to install the latest update to have the Disney+ app appear after registering your Get All Three account.
Big Shot Preview
Big Shot will span 10 total episodes for its first season. The official Disney synopsis is as follows, “Coach Korn (John Stamos) who, after getting ousted from the NCAA, is given a chance for redemption with a coaching position at an elite private high school. He soon learns that the teenage players require empathy and vulnerability – foreign concepts for the stoic coach. By learning how to connect with his players, Marvyn starts to grow into the person he’s always hoped to be. The girls learn to take themselves more seriously, finding their footing both on and off the court.”
The young cast on the court includes Sophia Mitri Schloss, Nell Verlaque, Tiana Le, Monique Green, Tisha Custodio and Cricket Wampler.
New episodes of Big Shot will premiere each subsequent Friday on Disney+.
