With a second season of AMC’s Better Call Saul arriving in just under two weeks time, AMC is stepping up their promotional efforts by thinking a little outside the box. This latest treat is one Breaking Bad universe fans won’t want to miss.
There are numerous Breaking Bad references in Better Call Saul strewn throughout the first season. Who can forget when Tuco popped up in the Better Call Saul pilot or when Jimmy McGill faked his name with, “Saul Good, man.”
While the obvious nods to Breaking Bad are easy to spot, creators Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould took great care into sprinkling in the most subtle references that only die hard fans might spot. I’ve watched every episode of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul and didn’t pick up on several of the 17 Breaking Bad references in Better Call Saul shared in the promo video below.
Better Call Saul Season 2 will premiere Monday, February 15th.
