The passengers and crew of AMC’s Fear The Walking Dead Flight 462 are about to embark on a bumpy ride when the 16-part, 16-minute miniseries resumes on February 14, 2016 during The Walking Dead Season 6 midseason premiere and online at AMC.com. At least one passenger will survive the detoured from Phoenix to Los Angeles flight and join Fear The Walking Dead at some point in Season 2, but who that is remains a mystery to this day.
What I can tell you is this surviving cast member destined for a greater role will be one of seven passengers that comprise the core Fear The Walking Dead Flight 462 cast. You may or may not recognize these folks from previous projects, so let’s take a closer look as well as watch an exclusive Fear The Walking Dead Flight 462 cast holiday messsage at the bottom of this post.
Michelle Ang’s Charlie and Brendan Meyer’s Jake Powell have been the two characters with the most emphasis through the first eight minutes. Charlie seems to be the only passenger with a clue about the virus outbreak and how to manage it, while Jake is more the portal through which the audience is watching the events unfold. Either of these two could move into Fear The Walking Dead as Brendan has TV and movie experience and Michelle is a popular young actress from New Zealand that looks poised to make a push into North America.
Then there is Kevin Sizemore’s Anthony, an armed U.S. Air Marshall that may be called into duty as the deceased passenger Marcus wakes up. Sizemore already has two projects lined up for 2016 including the drama Believe so his schedule alone might rule him out of surviving the flight. Regardless, I do like his odds considering he’s armed and trained to handle threats.
Kathleen Gati as Deirdre the flight attendant is most likely one of the first cast members to suffer a bite. She’s tending to Marcus in an attempt to resuscitate him when his zombie-fied eyes pop open.
The wife of Marcus, Suzanne, is played by Lisa Waltz. She is hysterical as Marcus dies and right there when he opens his eyes. Odds are favorable she’s next to go after Deirdre bites it.
Sheila Shaw plays Connie, an observant passenger that also looks like she’d be easy pickings for undead Marcus. She’s an in-demand TV actress with the TV series Lady Dynamite coming up to work on.
Obvious Brett Rikaby as Marcus won’t be continuing on to Fear The Walking Dead Season 2, unless Robert Kirkman really wants to push the envelope and focus on a walker that continually chases the same survivors. Nah.
Here’s the promised holiday message from the cast of Fear The Walking Dead Flight 462. Check out the first half of this miniseries right now at AMC.com.
