The fascinating transformation of Jimmy McGill into “criminal” lawyer Saul Goodman will play out over the course of at least one more season as AMC has renewed Better Call Saul for Season 3.
Showrunners Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould will continue to guide the series toward its inevitable intersection with Breaking Bad and beyond. Better Call Saul spoilers for recently aired episodes are ahead so proceed at your own risk.
As the last episode of Better Call Saul proved with a surprise cameo appearance by a very mobile and highly motivated Hector Salamanca (Mark Margolis), the colorful characters of Breaking Bad remain ripe to pop up in Better Call Saul in any given episode. AMC’s Better Call Saul Season 3 order is for 10 total episodes, the same number as Season 2.
The second season of Better Call Saul is currently playing out on AMC on Monday night’s at 9/8c.
